6 Heures moto – Trophy: An endurance race in its purest!

At the 6 Hours Moto organized by DG Sport, most teams with two or three riders also bring along two or three bikes. Each rider gets their own machine, so to speak! This even allows teams to run motorcycles from different brands, all carrying the same race number and swapping the transponder in the pitlane.

But there’s one exception: the Trophy category! Here, the riders share a single motorcycle for the entire half-day race! And sometimes, the results are spectacular. In 2024, the Trophy PRO winners, JOJ Racing Team, finished just outside the overall top 10.

This year, no team is entered in Trophy PRO, meaning the battle will be fierce in Trophy AM. Moto Racing Experience (Demarbaix-Picard), last year’s runner-up, will be hunting for victory. They’ll face off against Sweden’s One Endurance Racing (Bernström-Gunnarson-Miinin), Germany’s Rheinstal MSC by ADAC Nordbaden (Nagel-Michel-Kauertz), Team 77 (Schneider-Koehler-Belcczykowski), DLMT 56 (Krnac-Eckert-Schwartz), the Dutch team EX Racing (Kranenburg-De Leeuw-Sluijter), France’s HR Path Racing (Mata and Dudon alongside Natacha Remy), and Speed Bike Endurance (Sauvage-Lafineur-Ovaere).

Also on the grid: several Belgian teams, including J&I Racing Team by Engine-Energy (Aerts-Boekestijn, 5th in 1000 AM last year), LS Racing Team (Lorelli-Scalais), Les Pistards du Nord Racing (Biot-Lambert-Vandervalle), let’s not forget team 23/32, who delivered a standout performance during the recent 24 Hours of Barcelona (Sabia-Tomballe).

All of them will be pushing a single bike to its absolute limits, aiming to finish the day on the podium at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
